Dr. Dahlager treats several individuals from the Noblesville region who are harmed at work. According to the National Safety Council, the most routine type of work injury is musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), which involves injuries to the muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments and joints. MSDs account for more than one third of all workplace injuries.
The most frequent type of MSD is a strain, which is trauma to a muscle or tendon. Strains are caused by lifting, pushing or pulling too much weight, or by engaging in repetitive movements. Other common MSDs are carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis and back pain.
These injuries can be prevented by using correct lifting techniques, taking several breaks and using ergonomic devices. Employers can also help put a stop to injuries by providing their employees educational sources on avoiding getting hurt on the job.
Back pain and injuries are a usual problem that Dr. Dahlager sees in our #Ciyt# office and we also work with folks who have shoulder or neck pain.
If you have had a work injury or accident and live in the Noblesville community, give Dr. Dahlager a call and make an appointment today. We will help you to create a treatment plan that will help you heal and do our best to get you back on the job as soon as we can!
